The School of Grace is a non-profit mission of Grace Lutheran Church located in Raleigh, NC. The preschool serves typically developing children, children with special needs, and children from refugee families, ages 6 months to 5 years. As a Christian program, children learn and play in a Christ-centered environment. As a Parent Participatory Program, parents are actively involved in the education of their children.
The School of Grace Inclement Weather Policy:
- When Wake County closes due to inclement weather, either prior to school opening or during the school day, The School of Grace will also close. If there is an exception to this, you will be called by the Room Parent or a Board Member.
- If Wake County Public Schools has a one (1) hour delay, The School of Grace will open one (1) hour later than normal.
- If Wake County Public Schools has a two (2) hour delay, The School of Grace will open one (1) hour later than normal.
- You do not need to bring your child at the times above.
- You may bring them whenever you are comfortable driving.
- If bad weather develops while your child is at school, you are encouraged to pick up your child. You do not need to call The School of Grace for permission.
Wake County School closings are announced on local television and radio stations.
The School of Grace admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.
